• Books as Gifts

Reading should not be presented to children as a chore, a duty. It should be offered as a gift.

    —Kate DiCamillo

Now that our summer break is right around the corner, the teachers and I are hoping your child will continue to read and grow through the summer months.  We do not want students to slide behind because of the time away from school.  Instead we want to see them in September ready to continue on their path of excelling through the stages of reading and writing.  The gains your child made this school year can be maintained with continued practice over the summer months. Please click on the Summer Reading tab for resources.
