| The educational program at
Souderton Charter School Collaborative is built on the concept of community,
which creates numerous needs and opportunities for volunteer support throughout
the school year. Our Partners in Education Program has been developed to meet
those needs in a way that each member of our community (including you) achieves
the greatest personal benefit from their individual contribution.
The success of SCSC depends on the active participation of many people- both inside and outside the classroom. That's why every SCSC family willingly invests at least four volunteer hours per month fostering this unique learning environment for our children. From helping to facilitate learning experiences in each homebase to keeping our facility in good repair, to serving on one of our committees, it's our volunteers who make the unique and highly valued SCSC educational experience possible. We've even had grandparents and extended family members come in and share their time and experience. How wonderful! 2002/2003 School Year: 63% of the families achieved their 4 hour a month commitment for the year, with
additional hours being provided by families who volunteered, but were not able
to maintain a monthly commitment. The total for the year came to 2520 hours. |
